Synopsis

STONE SOUP tells the story of Alma, a child who has to flee her country because, one day, the kites flying in the sky are scared away by planes. After a long journey, she arrives to a new place, where apparently everybody has plenty of things, but nobody will share anything with her. Using her inventiveness and intelligence, she manages to cook a stone soup, which turns that town’s individualism into team work, and teaches a lesson for life to those who had shut the doors in the beginning.
